About
I'm a Magic: the Gathering player creating content for folks who want to get better at the game in a holistic way.
I'm currently looking for work! Here's my resume & portfolio →
I've been playing on the Pro Tour for a few years now, and have placed 2nd at Arena Championship 5, 18th at the World Championships in 2024, and top 32 at Pro Tour Aetherdrift and Pro Tour Edge of Eternities.
Here we believe:
1. Competitive Magic is an opportunity for learning and growth
- The goal is not to win, but to use optimization towards winning as a tool for learning.
- Magic is a fantastic game system that can be used for WAY more than intense competition. Here, the competition is the part we tend to focus on, but that doesn't mean that is all Magic should be about.
2. Competitive means INCLUSIVE
- True competition takes place in a community where everyone is welcome, regardless of identity or material resources. This means we want everyone to have a seat at the table and a sense of safety in the community. This allows us all to play against the best opponents possible and continue our growth as Magic players in an honest fashion.
- This includes proactive measures to help in terms of representation and visibility.
3. Personal wellbeing, besides being the primary goal, also leads to playing better Magic
- I play my best Magic when I'm physically and mentally healthy, and I believe you will too. We take care of ourselves and each other here, and take burnout seriously.
